Excellent composition ... they seem to be dancing in the air.

Well done !

However, these puppets are Burmese! Neither Khmer nor Thai - they were certainly laughing ... globalisation and tourism mean selling souvenirs to tourists
never mind if the souvenirs are authentic or not as long as they look good ...

This has nothing to do with the quality of the photo,just the background.

I was already wondering where these puppetes come from, what the meaning is exactly etc.. ! So thanks for yr info. I'm not surprised at all they're not authentical, as long as they sell good- it's sold in Thailand (and even Cam).
So, for some 'real stuff' I have to travel off to Birma now ey.. :) Nor problem, for later.
