Olá Jean Charles, all 3 images are very enjoyable and showing the beauty of winter snowed landscape. But this one is special, a magnificent detail of snow with wonderful light and great detail of image. I can see the Christmas Tree in the background, much nicer outside while still alive than inside the home of someone ;-)
I'll be away to stay with the family too and problably this will be my last participation of the year...
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your beloved family. See you in 2010...

Olá Tolga, a meu ver esta é uma das mais bonitas fachadas de Lisboa. Esta dupla ferradura é visualmente fascinante e exótico. Boa captura nocturna com bom enquadramento apertado. A fachada é que se destaca aqui mas gosto de ver o brilho de luz na calçada e a diagonal da passadeira, um semáforo de 'parado' e outro de 'avançar' ;-) ...o encontro de 'amigos' lá atrás à espera de avançar para a noite lisboeta.

Olá Didi, marvellous scenery, much better enjoyed in the superb large version. Love everything from side to side. Reminds me of exhuberant forested landscape of SE Asia...Nice pattern of light and shadow, parts with trees and without trees and good to see the winding road at left FG.

Olá Urs, in the thumbnails I thought this was a picture from London... ;-) Splendid capture of the moving guards, with great clarity and sharpness of image. Love the details of their uniform, specially the hats. Very good framing of these two in FG and funny to see the walking military (policeman?) in between them.

Olá Mário, que imagem gráfica espectacular. Lindíssimo efeito de luz e vinhas despidas a correr por aí fora, no campo nevado. Parabéns pela captura.

Olá Kath, I prefer this one to. It has the little cascade which is the main point of focus and it also seems to have better light and colors. The 'reading' of image is enjoyable following the curve of grass around the cascade until we find the mountains. The weather seems awefull and considering that this result is impressive. I would have been frustated and problably wouldn't even had clicked the button...

Olá John, most amazing detail of nature. Interesting last paragraph in your note. I feel exactely the same 'compositional chaos' when I'm in such places of nature. You did an amazing work here. I sure can feel the serenity and beauty in this winter branch.

Olá Jorge, bonito efeito de cor e luz naquele campo amarelo, mas também na distante colina ondulada onde está o gado. Gosto sempre de ver o pontilhado branco. Boa sequência de camadas nesta vista grandiosa.
Vou estar ausente para as festas...estou agora em Lisboa mas já regresso amanhã com a família para espanha. Irei estar ocupado a passeá-los por Granada e não devo ter tempo de vir aqui.

Olá Kari, wonderful perspective in a nice vertical framing. The moving red train is the eye catching element but I enjoy also the architecture and mountains seen in the background. It looks like a dangerous POV...in a second the train will pass over 'us' ;-)
