Beautiful landscape. Try cropping out the small tree on the right and up to the water at the bottom and it would be a different picture - not necessarily better - but different. When I do this cropping, my eye goes to the bridge and stream first and then explores the clouds and mountains and back to the bridge and stream. In the present version my eye goes to the tree at the right then the bridge, then background, and last to water. A different experience.

Actually, even though the photo seems to break standard rules of composition, I think it is very successful. Your eye is drawn to the man on the boat first because he is in the foreground and the colors are more saturated there. Then you look to the background for context - then back to the man and boat, etc. This is what a good composition does - keeps the viewer exploring the picture. Congratulations.

Very beautiful photo. You have used the whole dynamic range of the camera from black to pure white. The trees and houses in the foreground help create a sense of depth. What is especially interesting is how the viewer's eye keeps roaming around the photo - you are led to the brightest part first, then to the foreground that gives perspective, then to the beautifully graduated sky, and back to the bright part again.

I love this picture and your commentary. The composition is excellent with the foreground bird, the flying bird and then the town in the background. It keeps your eye moving around the picture. But best of all is that the bird in the foreground is there to tell a story - not just to be a pretty bird. Congratulations.
