Perhaps the most beautiful mountain , but also the most beautiful view , I think !
There is so much late summer atmosphere and a relaxed mood in your colourful posting here !

A very successful shot regarding the difficult lighting conditions . Wonderful soft toned light which sets out each armour . Some of them are even beautifully ornamented !!

Amazing colours indeed, but also a perfect shot of this unique volcanic landscape where the creation of the Earth is right before our eyes !
There's a wonderful depth in your photo and the landscape in the background enhances the canyon and the colours !

Hi Harriet .
A fine farewell to summer !
The lighting indicates clearly that it is not so warm anymore , the absence of people still more !
The reflections in the water are great !

Nevertheless this place is perfect for a rest to remember all the fun people had just here !

Indian summer...Well , yesterday we had something like that .
When I have finished my NZ contribution , I will probably post one or two from the past nice and warm days here in DK .

A very creative and elegant way to see and present these mannequins which are really nothing special in themselves, but your shot including the shocking red frame is very inspiring and original indeed !!

Even on a rainy day , a landscape can be special !
I like the grey tones and the way the mountains are "weaved" towards the middle of the photo , giving a perfect sence of scale along with the "tiny" trees on the mountains !

I also like the vivid touch of purple and red in the grenery !
It is an interesting church !
I wonder what it looks like inside . If one cropped the tower , to me it would look like a fine mansion !
